KEMET R4Y Automotive EMI Suppression Capacitors
KEMET R4Y Automotive EMI Suppression Capacitors are metallized polypropylene film capacitors encapsulated with self-extinguishing resin, offering a UL 94V-0 flammability rating. The R4Y caps span a 0.00047µF to 0.033µF capacitance range with ±20% and ±10% tolerances. The AEC-Q200-qualified components feature self-healing properties in a -40°C to +125°C operating temperature range with a 500VAC rated voltage (50/60Hz). Lead spacing options include 15mm or 22.5mm. The KEMET R4Y Automotive EMI Suppression Capacitors are ideal for use in electromagnetic interference (EMI) suppression filters in "line-to-ground" applications, requiring Y1 safety classification or in situations where the failure of the capacitor could lead to a danger of electric shock.
